About Indigenous Works
For over 25 years, Indigenous Works has been helping companies, governments, and organizations build stronger, more inclusive workplaces by fostering meaningful partnerships with Indigenous peoples.
Established as a national non-profit, Indigenous Works was created to advance Indigenous employment, workplace inclusion, and economic reconciliation in Canada. We work to close the gaps and remove barriers that prevent Indigenous job seekers, businesses, and communities from fully participating in the economy.
Through applied research, advisory services, employer training, and partnership development, we guide organizations in building effective Indigenous workplace strategies. Our Inclusion Continuum model and six principles of Indigenous workplace inclusion provide practical frameworks that employers across Canada can use to strengthen their Indigenous engagement.
Indigenous Works also connects employers with Indigenous talent and entrepreneurs through initiatives such as the Leadership Circle, the Indigenous Job Board, and a wide range of knowledge-sharing webinars, events, and resources.
We believe that advancing Indigenous inclusion is not just a responsibility, it’s a pathway to stronger organizations, thriving Indigenous communities, and lasting reconciliation. By working together, we help create workplaces where Indigenous peoples are valued, organizations succeed, and reconciliation moves from words to action.
